Growing up I always felt like we were one of the only Edling families in the United States and that were not many anywhere else in the world. The internet has shown me how wrong I was. It is interesting to see the Edling's throughout the US and the world. One of the first things I found was that Robert Norris Edling was killed December 7th 1941 on the U.S.S. Helena at Pearl Harbor. Another interesting one found on Wikipedia is that Edling is Welsh for heir apparent to the throne
